🆕 New features in WebShop

Use our new AI wand to create product descriptions

Achieve greater organic traffic to your WebShop by enriching your SEO metadata, category and product descriptions using our exciting new AI content generating wand! Simply open the product whose content you wish to update, click our AI wand and watch what happens! Once the content has been generated, you can review (which we recommend!) and click Save in the usual way. Or use it to quickly generate SEO metadata. Changes are automatically visible on WebShop once you save your content.

Watch the video which shows how we use AI to generate product descriptions for a product.

Then, click Use the Digital Commerce AI wand to automatically generate content to read a detailed description of how this works and watch more videos of automatic content generation in action!

Security category added in App Store

We added three more apps to our App Store, all focused on making the platform easier to use and more secure for you and your customers!

Our two new Single Sign-On apps (one for Google and one for Microsoft) make it easier than ever for your Management Interface users to have a secure, efficient and hassle-free login experience. Once installed and activated, your Management Interface users can use their corporate login credentials to login into Management Interface. Click on the relevant guide for more information:

You can also install a Google reCAPTCHA app that increases payment security during your customer’s Checkout process. Google reCAPTCHA is a third party add-on that is designed to protect your online store from fraudulent activities by automatically detecting and blocking suspicious behaviour. As standard, it is implemented as an Invisible reCAPTCHA integration with WebShop.

Installation is free and optional, so head over to our App Store to install it now!

Once installed, the Invisible reCAPTCHA integration runs in the background and verifies a customer’s activity before a payment attempt during the checkout process. If it deems the interactions to be suspicious, it displays challenges to the customer so they can verify that they are not a robot. Otherwise, the customer’s payment is processed without any intervention from them. This ensures a seamless checkout process for legitimate users while enhancing the security of your transactions. Updates to Management Interface

We’re working on improving Management Interface so that you can carry out all your configuration and managements tasks easily and efficiently. This month, we’ve made the following changes.

  • Added Product Count on product listing screen.

We’ve added a product count of all the products listed on the product listing screen in Management Interface. To see this, click Catalogue → Products. This opens the Product Listing screen. The product count is included at the bottom left of this screen. The product count is updated to the actual number of products listed on the Product Listing screen when you search and filter products.

  • Moved the “Import & Export“

We moved the “Import & Export” menu option from its current home under Catalogue in the left side menu to a new location in the Frequently used features menu, located at the top of each Management Interface screen.

Clicking Import Products displays the existing Import & Export screen shown below:

We need your help with our Management Interface improvement programme

Some merchants still use an older version of our Management Interface, which we are planning to deprecate in the coming months. We welcome feedback on your experience of using either the current or older version of Management Interface and would appreciate it if you took 2 minutes to share it by completing this survey.

Keep an eye on our release notes for more updates over the coming months.
