🆕 Introducing our approach to the European Accessibility Act
Disabilities come in many forms, including visual, auditory, physical, cognitive, or neurological. Assistive technology, such as screenwriting software, voice recognition, switch devices, and reading assistants, helps people with disabilities interact with the products and services they use daily. Laws, such as the European Accessibility Act, level the playing field and make their lives more manageable.
The European Accessibility Act is a European Directive (formally known as Directive (EU) 2019/882) that applies to many products and services1 . It mandates that certain products and services, including B2C (Business to Consumer) and e-commerce websites, be more accessible to persons with disabilities. Currently, it does not apply to B2B (Business-to-Business) e-commerce sites. Depending on your WebShop implementation, you may need to comply with the European Accessibility Act.
The European Accessibility Act comes into effect on 28 June 2025.
We have focused our efforts on making our WebShop more accessible for persons with disabilities (whether that disability is visual, auditory, physical, cognitive, or neurological). Our changes mean that WebShop can be used with assistive technology.
Read our Information sheet on the European Accessibility Act to learn more about this change and the improvements we have made.

Remember, it is your responsibility to comply with the provisions of the European Accessibility Act (EAA). We recommend using tools such as Axe-Core, WAVE - Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools, and/or Lighthouse. These tools come with a learning curve, so we further recommend you take some time in June to understand the results they create. Read our Responsibility Matrix on the European Accessibility Act to learn what we do and will continue to do to support you as you comply with this directive.
🆕 New features in WebShop
Improvements to WebShop’s Account Dashboard
This month, we’ve focused on improving different screens in the WebShop Account Dashboard, which your customers use to manage their accounts. Now, your customers can view and pay invoices from the Finance screen. We have also added pagination to many screens, giving your customers greater transparency on older orders, quotes, invoices, and more.
Read on for more details on both of these improvements.
View and pay invoices from WebShop Account Dashboard
Your customers can now select specific invoices to pay from the invoices listed on the Finance screen. Simply select the invoice to pay, select the payment method from the list provided and pay the invoice. An email will be sent to your Accounts team so that they can allocate the payment correctly in your ERP.

Read Using the Finance screen in WebShop for more information.
Greater access to customer information from within the WebShop Account Dashboard
We have added pagination to many screens in the WebShop Account Dashboard, including Order History, Quotations, and Invoices / Statements. This gives your customers greater transparency on older orders, quotes, and invoices. Additionally, your customers can use a date range search facility at the top of each screen to find the required information.
