How do I add an extra tab containing product information to all products?

Purpose and scope

Do you have extra product information that you'd like to share with your customers? One way you can add extra information and display it as an tab on all product pages in your catalogue is to create a page, and simply enable it through a setting in Management Interface.

This article explains how to do this using Pages, our content management system, and then enabling the feature in Settings.

Step by step

Step 1: Log into Management Interface

Log in

Log into Management Interface using your username and password. This opens the dashboard of your Management Interface.

Step 2: Open Pages

Open

Click Pages. This opens the Content Management System.

Add a page containing the information you wish to include on the product information page as a extra tab.

Click Save.

Example

You wish to add a tab detailing Shipping and Returns information to each product page.

Create a “Shipping and Returns“ page, populate it with the shipping and returns information you wish to share and save it under Store Information in your navigational tree, as shown:

Step 3: Update Settings

  • Click Settings. This opens the configuration area of Management Interface.

  • Search for ‘Tab’ in the Settings box or navigate through the directory structure to CMS → Customise → Products → Extra Tabs.

  • Add the page you wish to display as a tab on your product page.

  • Click Save in the bottom right corner to save your changes.

Any page that you add under Extra Tabs is immediately visible to your customers on WebShop.

Add the “Shipping and Returns” page that you have created under Extra Tabs.

Once set up, the new tab is listed on the product page underneath the product image.
