Term Definition
Measurement ID

string uniquely identifying a Google Analytics 4 property, it has the format G-XXXXXXX. The Measurement ID encodes what reports and data are captured for your website and/or app.

Merchant

a company who uses Experlogix Digital Commerce Platform.

Mode

specifies which set of blocks are available for use when you use Visual Page Builder. Two modes are available:

  1. Basic - contains the default set of blocks
  2. Expert - contains an extra set of blocks which offer additional functionality
Navigational tree

file directory that contains WebShop content consisting of branches and nodes.

Node

can be a block, a page or a link.

Order approval

allows you to review orders prior to submitting them to your ERP.

Order payment

a payment for an order placed in one of our products.

Page

a specific piece of text or particular image stored in the node location of the navigational tree.

Page template

preset design for a specific page.

Pages

our content management system, which is used to configure your WebShop through the use of blocks, pages and links.

Payment gateway

a service that allows you to accept and authorize credit or debit cards securely.

Price list

contains the standard price for each of a group of associated items. Typically, a price list is linked to a customer or group of customers allowing you to easily offer customer-specific pricing.

Price on application

a product that your customer is required to contact you about prior to its purchase.

Pricing property

Context: for use with Shipping Service configuration

a metric that has been imported from your ERP, mapped to the pricing table in our platform and available for use to configure a charge rule.

Priority index

configured numerical value associated with each product that is primarily used to determine where the product is listed when products are found by browsing through categories.

Product

an item for sale in the product catalogue.

Product code

(SKU), the unique code for the product.

Product feed

a structured description of your products that can be shared with other channels.

Product information sheet

lists specific energy performance and environmental related information about a product. It is also referred to as a product fiche.

Product list

a list of products that are grouped together and linked with a product list name.

Product option set

a set of products, each with their own product code which are slightly different from each other. In each product option set, one product is nominally defined as the parent product with the other products in the set associated with the parent product but with their own product code, option label and values.

Product options

a variation of a particular product, which the customer can select when they purchase the product; for example, a pair of shoes could have 5 size options and 4 colour options.

Product specification

contains product technical information, such as colour, size, weight, dimensions and so on, of a product. A typical product specification includes data that would appear on a product data sheet. Typically, it is displayed either as a tab or section on the product details page or screen.

Product tax code

a classification that the merchant assigns to each product to allow a tax calculation engine calculate the correct sales tax to apply to an order.

Product type

defines how a particular product has been configure. It can be 

  1. Simple - a single product with no variations
  2. Options - a product with variations
  3. Shipping - used for shipping charges
  4. Voucher
  5. Paired (Intact only feature)
Quote

a sales document generated by the seller in response to a buyer requesting information about a set of specific products. It is typically the first step in the sales process.
