Update your bookmarks to our recently launched knowledge base

We’ve launched our new knowledge base, which we’ve called Digital Commerce Knowledge Base. As we shared in October 2024, Aphix Assist has been re-organized, rebranded and renamed.

We are switching Aphix Assist off on 17th February, so make sure to update your bookmark to https://help-dc.experlogix.com/ before then.

Updates to Language Support

Great news - we now support another three languages, which are Portuguese, Italian and Romanian as standard.

We’ve also made two improvements to the Language Switcher feature.

Firstly, we’ve moved the Language Switcher drop-down menu to the Top Menu in Management Interface. Only visible when you have multiple languages configured, the Language Switcher drop-down menu applies the selected language to content, such as product names, product descriptions and, categories and their content in both WebShop and Management Interface. It does not update any menu options or other field labels in either Management Interface or WebShop.

Secondly, we’ve linked a customer’s language preference to their profile. The default language for each customer is specified in the Default Language field, located under the Permissions tab. The specified language is applied to the menu options and other field labels in WebShop. Once specified and linked to a customer’s profile, it is maintained between WebShop sessions.

Read Understanding language support in WebShop and Management Interface for more information.

Remember

  • the Language Switcher is only visible if you have configured multiple languages.

  • the the Language Switcher drop-down menu only affects content, such as product names and descriptions, in Management Interface and WebShop; menu options remain in English in Management Interface regardless of the language set.

  • the customer-specific language feature, specified in the customer’s profile, affects menu options and field labels in WebShop only.
